I knew from reading lots, listening to hypnobirthing podcasts, and working with Emma that I had a choice and decided to decline the induction. My instinct told me that this was the right decision for me and my baby, and I carried on waiting for them to make an appearance in their own time.

She was held up to us and I remember studying her little body thinking she was absolutely tiny but she was perfect.

I remained on all fours and birthed our beautiful baby boy into the water, Daddy helped me lift our bundle to the surface and we had skin to skin immediately.
